Back in 2019 ISEKI launched thect for use when travelling arir enew SF224 out-fro, perfound large sites with hant non collect rotary mower with unique tool carriernd tools, collecting up rubbir moving items whilst cutting sh ograss at the same time.
As Stage V starts to come into the mower market many of the big contractors are either moving to up to 40hp to enable higher road speeds when travelling between sites, or going sub 25hp to keep costs down. There are many areas that do not need expensive, complex machines. This is where ISEKI’s unique SF224 with sub 25hp engine is ideal, compliant with Stage V without the complexity of DPF and emissions controls. The mower’s combination of renowned ISEKI build quality, cutting performance, tool carrier and inexpensive pricing enables this simple machine to hit up to 50/60% ns controls. The mower’s combination of renowned ISEKI build quality, cutting performance, tool carrier and inexpensive pricing enables this simple m of the work contractors are doing. Two of the major contractors in UK agree with this.
SODEXO Scotland took delivery of an ISEKI SF224 from local dealer Fairways GM a few months ago after seeing it at the launch event, commenting on the machine performance said; “so far so good for the SF224, we have been very impressed, the tool carrier is a completely unique feature which has proved indispensable, you can put a bin in the back, strimmers, spades and other hand tools. It saves us so much time as workers don’t have to keep having to go back to truck all the time, it is a real time saver and something we couldn’t be without now”.
SODEXO wasn’t the only contractors who could see advantages of this machine. TIVOLI has also been impressed, explaining further Jeff said; “its simple design and quality build make for a sturdy machine which is excellent value, you get so much for your money. It is extremely comfortable for use all day and the 22.5hp engine means we save on fuel costs.”
The mowers are equipped with easy to use two-pedal hydrostatic transmission and automatic or selectable 4WD they are designed for mowing in difficult areas. There is also a lockable differential for use when conditions demand. To ensure efficient engine cooling the radiator is fitted with an automatic reversing fan so preventing the blockage of the grill.
The ISEKI 60” (1525 mm) out-front rotary deck with three blades ensures that no grass is left uncut even when undertaking tight turns. The cutting height can be adjusted from 25mm to 125mm (1-5”) in 12.5mm (0.5”) increments as required. A mulching kit is available to order if required.
Explaining the product conception David Withers, MD of ISEKI UK & Ireland went on to say; “We made sure we listened to customer feedback when we came up with this machine. Its seems what the customers asked for is exactly what was needed, we took notice of the feedback and supplied a machine that is extremely functional, very productive, quality build and comfortable for long hours out cutting whilst under the Stage V restrictions so maintaining a low price tag. It’s so pleasing to see the contractors out there using it in the right application.”
